I watched that somewhat recently. Peter Weller makes it worth it, IMO.

Wouldn't be worth it unless the cake pisses on a priest.

"Rooster" - Alice in Chains (Unplugged)
Probably the best Unplugged MTV, I defy anyone to oppose that statement. It's impossible for anyone to say different. Layne and Jerry were on fucking point that night. If anyone could have summed up their band perfectly on any given night, these two did it. It's especially great because of Layne's issues at that point in time. With how he was nailing notes, you wouldn't have known. Simply fucking phenomenal. #109

At this point, that's more likely. WWE needs to hop on a CM Punk/Stone Cold match. That's one fans are clamoring for.

When I first saw it, I was with some friends and I was like, "It might be alright......" but it wasn't. The amount of confidence I showed was comparable to the quality of the movie. Which was very little. #111

I saw that on one of your Facebook posts and instantly had a fangasm. That's one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

Let me preface this by saying that any and all reviews that I do are on an enjoyment scale. They may be lopsided, hell, you may disagree with what I'm saying. So be it. That's the way it is. Blargh.....
Anyways, the last horror movie I watched was "From Dusk Till Dawn." This movie is a fucking classic. Hands down. It's a vampire movie that doesn't follow the mold, but does so in a way that isn't fucking insulting. I'm looking at you, Twilight. It takes what's established and adds to it in a way that makes sense as opposed to making up a bunch of shit that aggravates people. People can accept "Day Walkers" as long as their name is Blade. If your name is Edward Cullen, you can go fuck yourself. But I digress......at least Voldemort killed that motherfucker. Anyways......From Dusk Till Dawn may have some dated effects, but it's highly enjoyable. And "Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!" Could be one of my favorite lines of all time. On an enjoyment factor, 9/10 #113

A friend that I haven't seen in two years due to him being in the military recently paid a visit. So his wife, his brother, his sister, his cousin, and I decided to go see a movie. Unfortunately most of the movies that are out, he's already seen. All that was left was "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone." Was it incredible? Far from it. Honestly, I had a better time watching the trailers before the movie started. There were some fairly funny moments in Burt Wonderstone, but ultimately, it was forgettable. I can't say that I was disappointed since I literally had no expectations going into the movie. So yeah......honestly wouldn't recommend this one.

While that picture is mildly amusing, that's kind of how the zombie medium has always been. Ever since the original Night of the Living Dead. It was social commentary. In a time of crisis, could people pull together, or would they make the same mistakes they made before the outbreak? It's a good dynamic/formula. Since it's not broken, no need to fix it.

Considering it ended the way it did, I'd say Andrea is proper fucked. I won't be shedding any tears. Also, it's official. The Governor is now a post apocalyptic Bond villain.

Caddyshack
I like this movie. I really do. But I want to get something straight. This movie would have fucking bombed had it not been for Ted Knight, Rodney Dangerfield, and Bill Murray. The fact that Chevy Chase is supposed to be this "zany likeable character" is a joke in itself. The dude is legitimately unfunny. I think this is where the rumor of Chevy Chase being funny began and it seriously needs to be nipped in the butt. I digress. 6/10 A classic? Eh. It's good for a watch. |
