Brightburn (2019)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

I went into this movie feeling rather tepid, but ended up enjoying it more than I could have imagined. The movie contains more horror than I was expecting it to have and it also boasts a couple of really gruesome kills, which was rather surprising. I usually enjoy Elizabeth Banks in other movies and she puts in a decent performance here, which is the one thing I did anticipate.
Brightburn is a pretty good alternative for horror fans that don't care for all the Marvel Avenger bullshit out there.
