Filth (2013)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

There are many laughs to be had whilst watching Filth and yet somehow it managed to leave me feeling like I've been kicked in the stomach. Bruce Robertson's descent throughout the film is performed masterfully by James McAvoy. There are some scenes that may be confusing to some, especially for those who have not read the novel that the movie is based upon.
Whether you have read the novel or not, Filth is a wonderfully twisted and intriguing movie with a dynamite and unconventional conclusion. It will take you on a ride of laughter and depression which is surely to leave a lasting impression.
