All Through the House (2015)

This movie is a mixed bag of ups and downs... and dicks. The acting for the movie starts out somewhat rocky but tends to improve along the way. The same could be said in regards to the production value of the scenes. The kill scenes are quite violent and while they should be satisfying enough for slasher fans in general, they could have been a little more unique.
I'm not sure how serious this film should be taken. The storyline is borderline ridiculous but in an unusually intriguing way. There is a scene where a woman manages to escape the killer on at least three separate occasions but insists on still running from the killer in high heels until she eventually falls over on them and bites the dust for good. Once again, depending on how serious you take the film, something like this could annoy you although I didn't have a huge problem with it as I thought it was kind of amusing.
All in all, I found All Through The House to be an amusing and a moderately entertaining Christmas-themed horror movie. It's probably not good enough to make it on the annual holiday playlist for most people but it's worth a look if you're an aficionado of slasher movies.
