The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

7 / 10
The plotline of Carrie White's father passing the gift/curse of telekinesis down to another child, albeit decades later, is a better idea for a sequel than many other lame storylines that have been used to continue other movies.

It does follow a fairly similar path to the original in terms of how the movie progresses. They establish that she is an outcast, a boy is being nice to her and at some point she is made to think that he is in on an elaborate prank to humiliate her and then we are treated to a finale of telekinetic mayhem. There is a romantic element added to this film and it does have a fairly chilling jump scare at the end.

It's nowhere near as good as the original movie but I do think The Rage: Carrie 2 is a decent sequel for the 90's.
