Blood Out (2011)

This movie has some bad-ass opening theme music. I love it. I also moderately enjoy Luke Goss as an actor, which no doubt is partly due to his roles as impressive lead villain characters from movies such as Blade II and Hellboy II.
I can appreciate the movie starting out with Goss' character trying to help his brother start a new life and get away from the crippling gang life that he's gotten himself into. While it's certainly not the most unique story ever, it's something with a bit of heart. Unfortunately, while this movie starts off okay, it just gets a little too brainless and silly as it moves along and becomes a bit of a disappointing mess which is capped off with an unbelievably crazy, over-the-top, unrealistic stunt during its final scene.
Unless you're a Luke Goss fan or have a hard-on for gang-related movies, there's not a whole lot to enjoy here.
