Marcos is a daring thief that wants out of his life of crime but his partner, Cole, talks him into one last score. What Marcos doesn't know is that their routine job turns out to be the heist of the priceless Sacred Seal of Mongolia. In an act of betrayal, Cole shoots Marcos and leaves him for dead. The Mongolians hold Marcos hostage as he nurses back to health and is then used to hunt down Cole to retieve the seal and win back his freedom.

Extreme Force (2001)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

6 / 10
There are some decent martial artists who produce typically average looking fight and brawl scenes but unfortunately the majority of actors drag the quality down. With thick accents and inability to convey particular emotions that are necessary to create credible scenes, this is where Extreme Force takes its biggest punches.

The main attraction for this movie, and really the only thing worth watching for, is seeing what the Tong Po character from the Kickboxer series would look like if he were a good guy rather than the bad guy that he's known to be. Michel Qissi has essentially copied his look of Tong Po for a different character (Kong Li) that he plays in this movie. Tong Po and Kong Li are almost identical in appearance, which is worth noting since Michel Qissi doesn't look like either of them without the makeup and fake hair.

It was a good tactic to use the gimmick mentioned above because if it weren't for that this movie would have dropped an extra point in the rating that I have given.
