Scream for Help (1984)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

I'm not sure what type of movie this wants to be... is it trying to make a mockery of itself? Maybe the director doesn't even know, considering that Tom Holland (Fright Night, Child's Play) wasn't exactly pleased with how his script had translated to what we see on the screen.
The characters in this movie don't typically behave like real humans would in their given circumstances, especially the lead actress. While this does create some sort of bizarre allure to the movie, it ultimately makes it difficult to take the unfolding events seriously. Aside from a decent electrocution scene, there's not much in the way of entertaining kills. While the music to some scenes sounds typically okay, it is also at times overly ambitious with some confusingly upbeat tunes.
Scream for Help is surely not a comedy, but it does have a certain silliness to it. It also contains a few decent pairs of titties, which I wholeheartedly appreciate but is not enough to elevate it from being a mediocre, low-budget movie.
