Five Loose Women (1974)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

4 / 10
Five Loose Women is rife with awkward and sometimes uncomfortable sexual encounters, and anytime there is a scene not involving sex, it just feels like the movie is going through the motions until it can get to its next scene of exploitative erotica. There's not much in the way of suspense as there's plenty of corny acting and the many scenes involving people fighting are just comical as their kicks and punches don't look like they'd hurt any more in comparison to a simple pat on the ass.

I don't mind watching these old, sexually charged flicks. But when the leading lady, who reminded me of a rough version of Judy Dench, is sucking titty and fingering holes in incredibly long drawn out scenes, it just doesn't do it for me. There are some giggles to be had with how bad some of the actors are and how scenes unfold but not enough to withstand all of its shortcomings.
