Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker (1982)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

7 / 10
It's way too light on murders/attacks through a great portion of the movie to appease those that are hoping for a typical slasher flick. This movie is more of a descent into madness before the real carnage begins and it takes most of the running time to get to that point. Even though Susan Tyrrell's character is a bit annoying at times, she puts in a commendably bat-shit crazy performance that really should be seen by those that have a penchant for 80's horror. A very young Bill Paxton also makes an appearance.

Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker isn't a fantastic movie, but it does deserve more attention than what it receives if only for being a much different type of 80's slasher film than the standard maniac in a mask formula.
