What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted? (1999)
Review by Bradley Frohloff

8 / 10
In this sequel to Once Were Warriors, we see Jake Heke's road to redemption from being an abusive alcoholic to a decent human being. It doesn't quite have the same punch as the first movie, but it is an intriguing ride, even if only to see a character that most people would consider a sorry excuse for a human being and see his transformation into someone that you end up rooting for as the movie progresses and by the conclusion.

Fans of the first movie should enjoy this movie well enough, even if it's not as impactful.
