Baby Blood (1990)

A woman with fantastic tits becomes the host of some sort of creature that crawls into her uterus whilst sleeping. This creature then convinces her to go kill people for blood as it needs enough of it before it can be born. Of course, with a plot like this my interest has piqued.
I don't know what it is with French movies but earlier this year I reviewed another French film called Raw which had a similar problem to what I have with this movie, and that problem is how the people act. They seem almost inhuman, I don't know how to explain it, they just don't come across as normal human beings, there's just something weird or odd about them. A few other notables on the negative side is I feel that the dialogue from the creature inside the womb (yes, it talks) could have been better. Also, we only get to see the creature for a few moments during the climax and it comes to quite an abrupt finish, leaving you craving more monster action.
With all that being said, there are some positives. There are a lot of blood splattering kills, there are some cool gore effects and the creature action is entertaining once we finally get to see the creature in a physical form. Oh, and I must mention this again, fantastic tits by the lead actress.
I had a tough time rating Baby Blood, a part of me wants to give it a 7/10 rating, and maybe upon a second viewing I may come back to change the rating, but I feel for now a 6/10 is probably where it belongs for now.
