The movie builds up some good suspense throughout and even though I'm not disappointed in the final 30 minutes of the movie, I do kind of wish that it went down the witchcraft route rather than what it ends up going with. The scene earlier in the movie when they reach the seemingly abandoned cabin in the woods and find the figure built out of sticks, I thought that was really creepy.
A good portion of the movie feels similar to The Blair Witch Project sans the found footage aspect. However, in the latter stages of the movie, it pivots into something very different. This movie stands up quite well for a Netflix production. It's acted well enough and has decent scares but doesn't really excel in any particular area to command a desire to re-watch anytime soon.
