While many other films of the same style are more enjoyable (such as The Cat and the Canary, The Bat Whispers, The Monster Walks, etc.), this lower-budget addition to the dark-and-stormy night horror/mysteries is still a decent amount of fun with a solid plot and decent, witty dialogue. The third act runs a bit long, which is perhaps the biggest problem here, but generally, while not my go-to, this is still an enjoyable film.

What are your thoughts on this 1930's horror flick?
