I feel a little uncomfortable knowing that some of you guys watch My Little Pony.
Honestly, I don't really care when anyone watches it. My problem is with the grown ass men roam around screaming at the top of their lungs how great this stupid fucking little girl's show is.

JasonzSon

I was always under the impression that wrestling was a show for 11 year old boys, so I figured it was the same thing.

Not sure I understand this point... because things like TMNT were also targeted for people that age. I'm more or less pointing out that My Little Pony is generally marketed to GIRLS. Do we have penises or not?

It is. And there are scary wrestling fans as well. And scary baseball fans.

WHY YES, I HAVE A PENIS, WHAT ARE YOU IMPLYING???

[*uhoh*]

Shadow

Yeah, but it's tattooed on your butt so it doesn't count.

Crash Dummie

I knew I should have gotten it tattooed on my vagina flaps, god dammit!

This being 2013 and not 1960, I'm not sure how to respond to this.

Chucky

Perhaps by firstly confirming that you have a penis?  [*uhoh*]

As someone who's been bullied as a kid, I reluctlantly agree with this message.

JasonzSon

That, and fiction that is only able to conceive of appealing to one gender is working on an archaic version of gender that assumes that your genitals actually impact your taste, interests, and the type of story you're capable of understanding.  Except for maybe porn.

Dorkus

My issue with the whole "brony" movement isn't that they like the show. What disturbs me about it is the way they have BECOME the show. I honestly think it's less about a tv show and more about trying to stand out in the most ironic way possible (it's funny because we like a show not aimed at us! Marvel at how counter-culture we are!). The whole thing is very insecure to me. Just like whatever you wanna like without trying to seek approval. You don't see us calling ourselves Walkies and twisting our personality to match characters from that show.

That's not even getting into the implied beastiality subcontext of it...

Crash Dummie

I started cooking meth because of Breaking Bad, bitch!

Expressing yourself is fine. But when you let something like this define the very person you are when you're in public, or otherwise, simply because you're too socially awkward to even attempt at acting normal there is something wrong with you.

A lot of these people are just genuinely fucked up and instead of trying to fix their problem they simply act out, reverting to being nothing more than a child. And when someone calls them out on it? Oh, you just simply don't understand, and are just ignorant, because this is who they REALLY are. I've seen deserts that hold more water than that argument.

Crash Dummie

Jus to make sure everyone understand, I agree with the bully from the comic strip.

Any interests, nerdy or not, are fine, but you also need to be a person that isn't a pain to be around.

Your statement made it kind of ambiguous. [*laugh*]

On an unrelated topic... are there any other cartoons out there, besides Adventure Time, which other people to actually be a decent watch? Seems like that is the only one that pops out of peoples' mouths when they're talking about modern day cartoons... I don't really hear a whole lot more than that one.
