Seen both of these before:

The Dirty Dozen (1967)

A bit dry during the middle, but the finale is top-notch fun.

The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)

Good classic science fiction. Quality anti-war message.

Never actually seen the first Orphan movie (having heard the twist beforehand, it's just not been high on my priority list), I'm happy that the sequel seems to at least be decent also. Heard generally the same thing on Twitter.

I saw Orphan: First Kill in theatre last week. Actually pretty good. Just when you think they're re-hashing the same type of movie, it adds a nice twist halfway through. Somewhere around 7-8 / 10.

Hostel: Part III (2011)

Seen this before some years ago. Still absolute trash.

Oh that sounds pretty sweet! How's the business been taking... considering everything going on these days?

Katie Irving - "I Never Dreamed Someone Like You (Could Love Someone Like Me)"

Have to admit, I don't remember this one, but then again, I only watch Carrie when I have to. Definitely a solid song.

I believe it is sung by Amy Irving's sister.

I was never good at the game, I just found the right combo of cock punches and elbows to the face without getting disqualified.  [*browwink*]

A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989)

Always thought that this was the worst of the series. No idea what's going on, and it's just overall drab. Horrible kills, too. While Freddy's Dead is flawed, at least it's entertaining, and I don't believe this one really is. 5/10.

id defiantly agree with you there.
to me this one is by far the weakest in the entire franchise.
especially fallowing dream warriors and dream master.

this just feels like a thrown together mess that lacks any sort of direction.

how would you rate the sequels in order jiggy?

From worst to best:

9) Dream Child
8) Freddy's Dead
7) A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
6) Dream Master
5) New Nightmare
4) Freddy vs. Jason
3) Freddy's Revenge
2) Dream Warriors
1) A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

There's some wriggle room here - every time I see New Nightmare, I like it a little less, but it's possible it's a better movie than Freddy vs. Jason. Also, it's possible I'd rate Freddy's Dead over the 2010 remake, but I'd need to see Freddy's Dead again before confirming that.
