Music / Re: Last Song You Listened ToLast post by Jigsaw - April 11, 2023, 11:31:11 PMCurrently listening to Animals Killing People's debut album, Kentucky Fried Killing.
Came out back in 2008, but only picked it up recently. I have to say, it has some of the most guttural vocals I've ever heard. I can generally follow along to Mortician songs if I have lyrics in front of me - the same is true for The County Medical Examiners and Cattle Decapitation. But this? No way, Jack. On that front, it's moderately impressive. As for the specific last song I listened to, though, "Animals Are Beasts, Men Are Monsters" #42
Horror Talk / Re: Robert (2015)Last post by Jigsaw - January 16, 2023, 02:16:17 PMApparently the director, Andrew Jones, just died. Not sure the cause of death, but he was young (around 39 years old).
Hated Robert with a passion, but this is sad news. #43
Random Bullshit / Re: ECHO... Echo... echo...Last post by Shadow - January 16, 2023, 12:39:44 PMI have one of each... desktop is my super computer whereas the laptop is mainly for low-level school stuff.
What I think is so odd, with all the younger people funneling in through class- most of them are computer illiterate. They spend most of their "tech time" on phones and tablets. #44
Random Bullshit / Re: ECHO... Echo... echo...Last post by Chucky - November 17, 2022, 09:55:43 PMI used to be strictly desktop in my 20's. But in my 30's I've been using laptop in personal time and still use my desktop mostly for work and also when I do the podcasts.

Echo... echo...Last post by Jigsaw - November 12, 2022, 11:33:34 PMQuote from: Dorkus on November 12, 2022, 08:05:11 PM I never much cared for laptops - been using a desktop my whole life, and laptops just feel odd. That said, hope it's one of quality, and it brings you joy unforeseen. #46

Other Movies / Re: What's the Last Non-Horror...Last post by Jigsaw - September 28, 2022, 06:26:09 AMSeen both of these before:
The Dirty Dozen (1967) A bit dry during the middle, but the finale is top-notch fun. The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) Good classic science fiction. Quality anti-war message. #48
Horror Talk / Re: What's the Last Horror Mov...Last post by Jigsaw - September 13, 2022, 07:59:37 AMNever actually seen the first Orphan movie (having heard the twist beforehand, it's just not been high on my priority list), I'm happy that the sequel seems to at least be decent also. Heard generally the same thing on Twitter.

Horror Talk / Re: What's the Last Horror Mov...Last post by Chucky - September 12, 2022, 08:59:11 PMI saw Orphan: First Kill in theatre last week. Actually pretty good. Just when you think they're re-hashing the same type of movie, it adds a nice twist halfway through. Somewhere around 7-8 / 10.
