I don't think that Camp Twilight is by any means a horrible film, but I do think that despite some promising performances from the younger actors and actresses, the story here is pretty generic and really not something that I think will stand out.

Have you set your peepers on this flick?

While the kills are occasionally decent in this one, for the most part, I find Night School an underwhelming movie. It's perhaps worth a single watch, but I have a hard time imagining this one becoming anyone's new favorite.

What are your thoughts on this slasher?

When is a circle an oval? Triangle.

If you were in a loop and told you could break the loop by yourself (who obviously hasn't broken the loop, since you're still in the loop), how would that make any logical sense at all?

Though this film does possess really awful special effects at times, I found the story interesting enough (from a political standpoint) to continually engage me. There weren't many great characters, and the route is somewhat generic, but it's a movie I certainly don't regret watching, even it falls below average.

What thoughts have you on this vampire film?

For a movie focusing on aquatic monsters, Humanoids from the Deep can be pretty dry. It has solid creature design and gore, not to mention nudity  but more often than not, the on-goings onscreen were more dull than anything. Still a decent film.

What are your thoughts on this monster movie?

I'll admit that this movie, which is aimed primarily at a younger audience (in the vein of Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Goosebumps) entertained me a lot. It's not just Ron Silver, who I know from The West Wing - it's the whole of the story, as corny as it sometimes is, but the ending packs an oddly emotional punch.

What say you about this made-for-TV horror flick for kids?

While this movie has never been my go-to when it comes to 70's horror, Black Christmas is a very classic film, if for no other reason being one of the earliest recognizable slasher films. Great kills might be a bit lacking, but there's solid atmosphere here, and combine that with good performances and a memorable finale, you have a movie that's certainly worth the watch.

What say you about this Christmas themed horror flick, brahs?

I like the gore here when it shows up, and the basic story is pretty enjoyable, with touches of brutality. There are scenes in The Green Inferno I could have done without, though, and the finale felt pretty weak to me.

What are your thought's on Eli Roth's tale of primitive cannibals?

I found Faceless a surprisingly enjoyable film. It might not be special, but the gore is on point, the story was a bit deeper than I expected, and that finale was certainly memorable.

What say you on this Italian movie?

Silent Hill is a piss-poor film, lacking in comprehensible plot or likable characters. Cool chains and the like, but with a confusing story that made no effort to fully explain itself, this movie can fuck off.

What are your thoughts on this failure? 

Honestly, save for a decapitation and an okay performance or two, more than anything, Frightmare's a baffling, forgettable movie. The atmosphere is occasionally solid, but the story here really suffered, and the whole of the film felt like a mess to me.

What are your thoughts on this 80's flick?

Okay, so the CGI in this movie is horrible, and it's not really much more than your standard silly Syfy outing, but I found some surprising charm in this movie, not to mention enjoying seeing a younger Emilia Clarke. Triassic Attack isn't special, but I definitely found it amusing enough.

What do you think about this Syfy movie?

As bad as terrible snake movies could be in the late 1990's, they're always 100% better than most snake movies from Syfy post-2005, no competition. King Cobra's not a great movie, but it's reasonably entertaining, and that's what matters at times.

What do you think about King Cobra?

Body Count is a muddled, scattershot film that isn't always clear with it's story nor does it boast the best lighting. It's enjoyable still, though it's definitely a film that's below average, no matter how fun the music was or competent the kills were.

Your thoughts on this Italian flick?

Slaughterhouse definitely has some issues, such as the black comedic influence, but it's a generally solid movie overall, and though far from perfect, the movie has charm, as far as late 1980's slashers are concerned.

What's your favorite song by Mortician, and if it's not "Chainsaw Dismemberment," why not?

Fertile Ground is pretty much as soulless and forgettable as you can imagine. I think there was a possession, or something like that. I remember a solid opening (wink wink), but otherwise, pretty much everything here was sub-standard.

What are your feelings on this rather unremarkable experience?

The best I can say about this atrocity is that it's better than 2-Headed Shark Attack was. It's still not a good movie, or even nearing average, but it had a few memorable characters and occasionally felt interesting. Still a far cry from quality entertainment, though.

What you all feel 'bout this multiple-headed shark flick?

While somewhat a rip-off of Halloween, Malevolence, despite it's budgetary issues, possesses some solid suspense and a decently solid slasher story once the film gets past it's set-up. Might be a bit slow-moving, but rewarding in it's own way.

What be your thoughts on this slasher?

Personally, I found Midsommar a better movie than Hereditary, despite being quite a long and unforgiving watch. It's also as about stylistic as you'd expect, being Aster. It's atmospheric to the extreme, and drenched in unease. It's so totally beast, brahs.

What's your view on Midsommar?

The central problem with this one is that Ma is just not that memorable. The trailer was interesting, and hooked me in, but after it came out, virtual silence. There's a reason for that. Disregarding a few decent performances and some tension come the conclusion, Ma doesn't have that much going for it, and was a definite disappointment.
