Hey Puking king, since you're from the Philippines, is this movie easy to obtain on DVD or bluray over there? I wouldn't mind owning it but it's proving to be a very difficult find.

The movie is only a few years old and I know that the director has since died, so I'm guessing that might have something to do with it.

I buy my dvds online at Amazon, U.S. region. 

But, I will check with the video store here and see if they have it.  If they do, I doubt it would have subtitles and the region will most likely be region 0 I think.  I will let you know.

I enjoyed watching this a long time ago.  I wouldn't mind watching it again.

One of the few classic 80's slashers that continuously disappoints me, but let me watch it again first before condemning it again. 

This is one movie I often remember and end up watching.. do I love it?  Nope.  But I can watch it again, every now and then.

It's been awhile since I've seen this, though from what I remember, I did not appreciate it.  I found it to be too much of a bore.

I think it was very pretty

I have only watched this twice, if not, 3 times since it came out.  When it did, I was very young then and my only focus was towards the dog - and how sad I was for him.  Now that I am older, I focus on all angles of a movie - story, acting, fx, and everything else that makes it a movie.  I cannot really think of anything unpleasant to say about this film.. other than the fact that it cuts deep and I don't really think of it as a bad thing.

was this the one where leatherface was still young and he escaped the mental hospital?  I hate that one.  I agree with Jigsaw, the 2003 texas was way better.

The helpers... kinda like the vacancy but I liked it very much.
