My issue with the whole "brony" movement isn't that they like the show. What disturbs me about it is the way they have BECOME the show. I honestly think it's less about a tv show and more about trying to stand out in the most ironic way possible (it's funny because we like a show not aimed at us! Marvel at how counter-culture we are!). The whole thing is very insecure to me. Just like whatever you wanna like without trying to seek approval. You don't see us calling ourselves Walkies and twisting our personality to match characters from that show.

That's not even getting into the implied beastiality subcontext of it...

I'm a huge fan of The Exorcist, but I agree it's a subgenre that needs to go now, along with found footage.

That's why The Devil Inside was terrible, it combined the two.

I still think the only way to turn Cena heel is to have him end the streak. I don't think the streak should end but I can picture the riots in my head, and it is glorious.

Now that I think about it, I think I'm less intimidated by her and more intimidated by her circle of friends. I have my own little group so I prefer when we're alone. Yes, jobs have cliques.

I work at a supermarket. I pretty much keep to myself and have done for years there, so I don't converse with many of my co-workers beyond a simple "how are you"?

That has all changed with the arrival of this new girl, who I'll call Alice (mostly because that's her name).

It could just be that she's the super social type, but at various points during the day she'll approach me and want to know about me. I don't think it's quite flirtacious behaviour, but it's more friendlyness than I'm used to recieving from girls. And, I mean, she'll smile or laugh at everything I say...could be the awkardness I emit.

I'm mostly making this thread because the thread count could use some boosting, but I figured some of you may know women better than I.
