Other Movies / Blood Out (2011)
« on: May 30, 2019, 11:27:39 AM »
Aside from its bad-ass opening theme music and my general admiration of Luke Goss based on his characters from Blade II and Hellboy II, this is a pretty stupid movie that starts off okay and gets sillier and uninteresting as it progresses.

Who else has seen Blood Out?

Horror Talk / Cardiac Arrest (1980)
« on: May 30, 2019, 11:05:57 AM »
Cardiac Arrest is a huge disappointment, which is a shame because the plot itself has promise. Don't be fooled by the artwork, this is some midday movie shit that would have you yearning to watch a whole season of Matlock instead.

What are your thoughts on this movie?

Horror Talk / Re: Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings (1993)
« on: May 30, 2019, 10:28:17 AM »
Got it on DVD, but has been a LONG time since I last checked it out. Pumpkinhead is one of those series that just hasn't caught on with me. I mean, each time I try to watch it I'm just not in the mood or never finish it.

I did catch one of the DTV sequels... part 3 or 4... and even though I can't recall it at all, something tells me one of those were okay. I may need to just binge watch all of them at once at some point.

I think you mean to say that it's not in YOUR top 50.  [*tsktsk*]

You finally return when a post is made in a thread about De's cock... coincidence? Or does Crash have notification set to this topic?  [*laugh*]

Noticed a "guest" user was perusing this thread... maybe De is still around, lurking in the shadows, beating off to his old posts. [*uhoh*]

- Wishmaster (1997)

Horror Talk / Re: Cloverfield (2008)
« on: May 27, 2019, 09:47:20 PM »
I did see this at the theatre but haven't watched since. I remember it being okay but mostly enjoyed the earlier stages when shit starts happening and everybody starts to panic as chaos ensues.

May watch again at some point but I doubt I'll have any strong desire to in the near future.

Haven't seen but will probably check it out since it's got clowns.  [*thumbsup*]

Not bad, I gave this one a review too. Good idea, a couple of decent moments but ultimately a forgettable flick.

Horror Talk / Head Games (1996)
« on: May 05, 2019, 02:54:10 PM »
There's a decent plot here, but the execution doesn't do it justice. The characters could have been more interesting and it would have benefited from being more violent in its most pivotal scenes. I wouldn't mind re-watching though if it ever gets a high-def release.

Have you any thoughts on Head Games?

Horror Talk / Camp Death III in 2D! (2018)
« on: April 28, 2019, 02:28:34 AM »
I must question as to whether the people involved in this production are genuine horror fans. It's a completely retarded attempt even for a parody movie with annoying characters in a production that would make an episode of the 3 Stooges look like Shakespeare by comparison.

Has anyone else seen this garbage parody flick known as 'Camp Death III in 2D!'?
