Other Movies / Re: Movies that bring back memories

I used to watch labyrinth and creepshow at my grandmothers. She started me on a life long love of horror and fantasy movies. Still like to watch labyrinth......those pants [*yes*]

The cottage, at first I really loved it and wanted to buy it. Watched it second time around and just felt meh. I guess some movies seem really good if you're in the mood for it.

Im not sure if titles will give people an incentive to post or just post tonnes of crap.

American Mary, which was pretty good. Katharine Isabelle should be in more horror movies...I would be gay with her for sure. The movie was great fun, although I think they could have pushed the extreme body modification much further and made people into utter true freaks of nature. Like real life barbie and the twins, those ones were on the right track.

Sick boy: Long boring build up to the end of movie where the action starts. Featuring unattractive plain girl and abusive plain boyfriend that need money so she gets a creepy gig babysitting. Blah, blah, blah. Went to bed when it started to get interesting, will ask husband how it went. My guess is the kid got bitten by the same tropical monkey in "brain dead" is now a zombie and everyone dies.

Yes I saw it and bad news, that scene with the girl is completely cut out. It happens during beginning credits and as soo as she starts unzipping, it cuts away. Fucking pissed me off!

Had a good feeling that would be a gratuitous tit scene, just to pull the guys. Only in the trailer and less than a few seconds in the movie...pulls them all the time  [*laugh*]

The majority of slashers I've watched, the killer wasn't supposed to be a secret.  Really the only ones I can think of are maybe the first two F13s, Pieces, and Sleepaway Camp, and they're so embedded in the public consciousness most viewers end up knowing the killer before they start watching.

Even worse if there is no challenge to guessing the killer or debating anything.

Slashers, the killer always seems obvious to me, the story runs the same as any other slasher just with a different looking killer. That being said there are a few slasher movies that I like but do find most repetitive after the first film.

Torture porn is probably the worst as they just use shock and gore to entertain. Its cheap trick.

Supernatural; vampires, werewolves, zombies, lovecraft, witches/warlocks, demons etc.

Aww hell no! Army of darkness is great. Very funny corny movie- has to be one of my favourites. Bruce Campbell is sexy.

Jz nailed it, I think she may just be a nice, approachable and social person. If she hasn't said anything she might be waiting for you to make a move, go ahead and ask her out but keep it casual and see where it goes. Try not to get too emotionally invested in her before you know if she likes you.

Playing Flicky biatch  [*happy*]

I have some sega games on PS3, just finished Alex the kidd and want to finish Flicky. Have just been told the game is nearly endless and worthless to finish but have trouble stopping a game once I start. Must. finish. game.
