Well the thing is, Revelations was made essentially so they could keep the rights in order to make the remake.  If you ignore the fact that by making it they pretty much show they lack the respect necessary to make the remake, it's not something they ever intended to be indicative of what was to come.  Regardless, it was a shit-stain on the series in every way and one that Doug Bradley was right to refuse.

Cbox is essentially a chat on the bottom or sidebar of the page, visible to anybody who comes by.  Chuck has screenshots of most versions of the site, he had that History of FE thing a while back (I imagine it'll be coming back with an update when he's got time), and besides, it hasn't changed that much since the old site.

Equal parts Thanks Chuck for bringing it back and Damn, Chuck, when did you say the forum would be open by?

As for the forum layout, I really did like the old one, to the point that most forums I made emulated it.  The only thing I would change is a section under Horror for non-movie content- maybe a Film and TV board, and a Horror Lit board.  Otherwise, I'm all for everything we had before.  Except maybe the Arcade, which didn't do much.  Chat was cool, but could I suggest something like Cbox instead?  It might be more effective in terms of drawing attention to it.

Horror Talk / Worst Horror Films of the Last Three Years

Consider this a counterpart to Jiggy's thread.

Hellraiser: Revelations was one of the most bullshit pieces of film I've ever seen and it literally hurts me to think about it.

Apollo 18 was also a 1/1, but mainly because it was the most boring, uninteresting waste of times I've ever experienced.  I had more fun having my wisdom teeth out than I did watching that movie.

I enjoyed Cabin in the Woods and Woman in Black.  Apparently jump scare stings hurt Woman in Black for most people, but I was too busy directing my rage at the audience for SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS EVERY TWO MINUTES.

The Thing, Fright Night and Insidious I liked, but not as much as the others.  Underworld 4 was dumb, but fun.  Not sure if I missed any that I've seen.  That I liked, anyway.
