Messages - Reign in Blood

Rosemary's Baby. Completely coma-inducing, but it dupes you into fighting it because of it's classic status, and the demon rape midway was a nice way to give you a shot of hope. So I'm at the end, and finally think I'm going to be rewarded for making it through this giant, long ass Planet Parenthood commercial of a movie. Only to be kicked right in the balls for the true knock-out count once again. No one gives a flying fuck hearing you cry about his eyes you stupid broad, all we've heard you do is whine the whole movie, show us something, anything cool! Bah. I hope someone shoves a copy of this up Polanski's ass while he is in prison.

I dubiously forgot to mention The Taint. That's just some good, sweet love, right there.

True- along with 10 films in the first Star Trek series.  Is there an audience here for a non-horror equivalent to this discussion?
I'd say yes, but the one that puts every other series to shame is the Bond series.

I hate all the Leprechaun movies except for part 3. For some reason that one is just insanely fun.

There was an old man of Madras, whose balls were made of fine brass, so in stormy weather they both clanged together and sparks flew out of his ass!  [*yes*]

I thought the first half of Martyrs was brilliant. But it was like that was all they had in the tank, so they said fuck it and crammed in a completely different script (that was much shittier) to finish it off.

queensland australia. the only place to be.

lol, unless you unearth Crocodile Dundee, somehow I kinda doubt that. But I would now include on my list of places to visit that don't suck, which includes Hawaii and now Queensland.  [*browwink*]

Random Bullshit / Where is everyone from?

I thought it would be nice to know where everyone in this international community hail from, or are currently living. I know Chucky and Giddins are from Oz, and Kash from Belgium etc. but not everyone. And while this may be redundant for you long timers, just humor me, damnit!

I'm from lovely Southern California, originally born in Denver, Colorado. Though I fear I have said too much about my whereabouts with Christopher Dorner still on the loose.  [*uhoh*]

For smaller outfits like us, I always think it's good to support the more niche groups and interests. Stuff that some might not really have an outlet for their interest in it, and will draw others because it's different and cool, I think it's good to foster.

I've found that most the people that like Jason X also like TCM: The Next Generation.

Definitely glad this is getting an R rating. I thought part 4 was alright all things considering, but was there a more retarded decision Hollywood has made to make that PG-13, when half of McClane's appeal is his sailor mouth and his household catchphrase that includes motherfucker? Let's start releasing slasher flicks as PG too.. Oh wait.

Same as the Last Horror Thread. Also forgot to mention, would be nice to see your thoughts on these and maybe a rating rather than just listing the title of the movie.

Last one I watched was Rocky 4. Cinemax on Demand has the whole series (with the exception of Rocky Balboa) so I've watched them all at least twice in the past month. As a kid, this was probably my favorite one due to how much of a bad ass Ivan Drago is. While he's still pretty bad ass (and is actually more of a threat than Clubber Lang was) I don't like this one nearly as much as I used to, but still find it really enjoyable. Apollo's death is still every bit as powerful as it was when I first saw this film, but I can't help but feel something is off about this movie.

Perhaps it's the overuse of the montage. Maybe it's Apollo's entrance into the Drago fight going on longer than necessary, I dunno. I have a general problem with the Rocky movies as a whole and that's the characters seem to regress waaaaay too much. Either way, I still dig the hell out of this movie. 7/10 solid film. Not the best in the series, but not the worst.

Hmm, the training montage is the best in cinematic history, and Apollo coming out to James Brown singing "Living in America" is probably the greatest ring entrance of all time. Maybe we have our priorities in different places. In any event, 10/10, no candy ass movie in the last two decades can pump up a red-blooded male like the Rocko vs. Drago fight.  [*hehehmm*]

Reminds me of Hellraiser II: Hellbound...

Even an image search of Dario Argento Skinless Body brings up Hellraiser 2 and Freddy pics... This is some shit!
