Looks New England enough for me, with no other justification than looking 1980-ish, to say 'Salem's Lot.

I can dig that.  It's not outstanding in terms of making sense, in terms of vampires, etc., but it's as enjoyable a movie as most things Tarantino pens.  For the record, I'd probably give it an 8.

Find something awesome in the world of horror, or even outside it?  Post it here.

I don't know if I should comment about this appearing to Bomberman vs Wario, or Time 100, Enemy 1.

I need to figure out what I want to rate Strippers vs Werewolves.  It was a lot less bad than I expected it to be.

Electric razors do nothing for me, I'm talking about the M3 Power razor.

The fact that they split Planet Terror and Death Proof still saddens me.

No, ASBAR is full blown insanity from the first page on.  He had clearly lost it well before starting that story.

Given the option, I also tend to use battery powered razors (they seem to get a deeper shave and have less chance of drawing blood if I do screw up) and I imagine that putting the handle of one of those in the shower is a surefire way to need more than a shave.

Any remarkable features on either of the last two, out of curiosity?

Welcome to FE.  Good to see a new face, even if you're sporting an old one.  Can't let the horrors die!

I've noticed that not only is it generally painful to shave with water that's not scalding, you notice it more if you do cut yourself, and you still don't get as deep.  3 good reasons to turn the hot water on to max.  As for a shower, I can't imagine trying to shave without being able to see what I'm doing without leaving patches of hair left behind.  No, thanks.

What was the last film you purchased?  I didn't include VHS, Laser Disc, or Betamax, largely because they deserve their own thread.  I didn't include Digital Copies you didn't purchase, for obvious reasons. Anyway, this was a popular thread way back, and seeing as how I just bought some DVDs recently, I thought it would be fun to bring it back.

Why did I buy DVD's?  Because each one had at least 8 films, either with classic camp value or straight-up great films/creators, in the $5 bin.  Even for public domain, I think it's worth it to have on hand.

Yes, that is the Tarantino/Rodriguez film that Shadow doesn't like at the bottom.   How the fuck Echo Bridge got their hands on such a popular film, I'll never know, especially since there's no way it's public domain so soon.

I haven't watched any of these films, but I'm never one to turn down a cult series thats managed to go on this long.

Yes, they're all probably public domain, but that doesn't mean I would have found them without looking for them.  This gives me plenty of incentive to see them- the fact that they'll be sitting in my PS2 forever- and that's good enough for me with someone like Hitchcock.

So these were the last comics made before Frank lost his mind?   I seem to recall hearing that the decline had started in this story.

That movie looks hilarious for all the wrong reasons, and only because I'm looking at the title.  I'm picturing a fan film based on the game.  Based on your description... seems pretty close.
