Not a remake... in fact, aside from some young adults hiking in the backwoods of West Virginia, I don't really see any similarities to, nor could I say that it is even the sub-genre as, the other films from the franchise. But the movie is certainly interesting and I think should rank higher than any of the other Wrong Turn flicks, sans the original.

I got season 1 on bluray, don't think I saw season 2. Not a huge fan of shows in general. I pretty much stick to movies... but season 1 was alright.
