Personally, I found Midsommar a better movie than Hereditary, despite being quite a long and unforgiving watch. It's also as about stylistic as you'd expect, being Aster. It's atmospheric to the extreme, and drenched in unease. It's so totally beast, brahs.

This is one iv been meaning to watch but just keep putting off for whatever reason.
Out of interest, were you a fan of Hereditary? I only ask because if Hereditary wasn't your cup of tea, I don't know how much this one would engage someone.
