The original mini-series is widely considered as having an enjoyable first half and a mediocre second half. While I wouldn't say that this falls off the rails as much as the original mini-series did, I think it does to a degree. With that being said, I still found it to be a decent movie.

Seeing it tomorrow on my own. Was gonna see it with a co-worker, but she already went to see it and in her own words it feels like the longest film ever.
I actually didn't notice the long run-time as I was watching it.
I'm with the Chuckster on this - I actually wished it was a bit longer to flesh out a few things.
