This film lacks much of the gore and suspense I'd have otherwise appreciated. It feels really watered down, and that very much shows in the final product. The mystery and story are fun, though the ending's a bit iffy, if only due to some questionable acting. While certainly a flawed movie, this is one of those post-Scream slashers that always seems to pull me in.
