This television remake has some heart and it feels as though they are genuinely trying to do something extra with it rather than just shamelessly copying the original movie. However, this product is inferior in most aspects to the original. A part of that is due to this version being a smaller production, but another part of that is Brian de Palma being a tough director to compete against.

I enjoyed this vastly more than the 1976 movie. Hopefully, when I rewatch both of them, I can actually back this up. [*laugh*]
