Title: Terrifier (2017)
Post by: Chucky on September 04, 2018, 02:49:52 AM
Terrifier is an extremely gory and violent slasher flick with essentially no plot or character backstory which aids in the complete depravity of the character and of the movie itself. As a slasher movie, it's an amazing watch but it does feel a little empty when you realise that you just watched a bunch of people get cut the fuck up with no real reason to show for it. I know that slasher flicks generally have very simple plots and backstories, but they usually at least have one... this one doesn't.

Have you checked out Terrifier yet?

Haven't seen Laid to Rest in years, but this does look decent.

In fact, somewhat amusingly, this is one of the 641 movies on my "want to see" list. Basically a bunch of horror flicks that have caught my eye.

Not sure when I'll get to this one (my watch list isn't really something I'm focusing on watching through at the moment), but it does look like something I'd potentially enjoy.

Just noticed this is on NetFlix. Must have just been added. I may give it a go later this week.

Yeah, I had been contemplating ordering the bluray for many months but ended up watching on Netflix first. Though the Australian and US Netflix probably have a bunch of different stuff, sometimes they do also share some of the same movies and it looks like they do with this one.

Holy shit, that clown freaked me out. Dude, I'm glad I watched that sober, because if I was high watching that movie, there would be no way I could have gotten past that pizza diner scene. What an amazing performance.

Great gore also, some of the best I've seen in a while.

Not much of a plot, and no background given, but this was a pretty strong movie.
