Among Friends surpasses the minimal expectations I had for it. I found myself to be quite invested in the unfolding events, though the movie never really ends up evolving to anything spectacular. Kane Hodder was hilarious in his two quick scenes and that really elevated what was ultimately an okay movie.

Pray tell, anything like The Loved Ones (2009)? Getting a somewhat similar vibe, at least from what I sense of the film.
Regardless, this sounds like one that I might actually enjoy. [*thumbsup*]
It does have some similarities to that from what I can remember, though I haven't watched the movie since it came out. I do have the bluray for it (of course) so I should give it another watch sometime soon.
