Title: Hostel: Part II (2007)
Post by: Jigsaw on July 25, 2018, 10:57:49 PM
While the first movie is pretty good already, the second Hostel expands a bit on the torture organization, and keeps the gore strong. Despite a few subplots and characters I didn't care for, I thought that this film was pretty strong.

What did you think about this sequel?

I still think the first was a bit better but I do remember getting a kick out of the guy celebrating on the golf course.

First is certainly a solid flick (and, not to mention, has a funner end). I could easily see the first two Hostel's being interchangeable. Shame they completely pissed on these two with the third, though.

I just can't stand these movies honestly.

From 2000 up, Hostel is about the only good horror series (aside from Saw), and it perhaps one of the finest horror flicks in the last 15 years.

I was admittedly high when I wrote that, so I don't actually stand by it, though I did like the first two flicks well enough.  [*laugh*]

What about them doesn't do it for you, if I may ask?
