I'd heard about that. Haven't followed what the plot is suppose to be about- or if we even have an idea yet. I have high hopes, though.

Horror Talk / Re: Halloween II (1981)

Probably my favorite thing about Halloween 2 is the fact that, if you so choose, you can start watching it after one and immediately pick up where you left off. Essentially making the entire thing one big movie.

Perfect for me, since I love the both of them. I can't recall a time when I only watched the first one and didn't follow up with the second soon after.

Yeah on second thought, maybe I don't like T2 anymore.

What a shame, because the T1000 is probably one of the best villains out there. [*cry*]

I'm in agreement with the both of you. I liked it, but it also was definitely out of place. I could see if maybe they placed the Predator hunting down people from say a small village. But in the middle of LA is definitely odd.

An interesting idea could be one of those places where lost tribes live, with no contact with modern people. Maybe you have some people studying the tribe from a distance, when shit starts to get real with the Pred. They can't really intervene or the tribe will kill them, so they have to play a bit of background chess against the Predator. Sounds like a fan-fic for another day, though.

Predator is definitely up there for me as one of the better sci-fi/action movies of all time. Kind of makes me curious about how they'll be handling the franchise in the future. They've been talking about more movies for a good while now.

While I do enjoy T1 quite a bit, I definitely favor T2 more.

Maybe it has to do with me watching it first as a kid, or maybe because it's just better. [*hehehmm*]

Quote from: Crash Dummie on January 19, 2018, 04:04:39 AMSome guy on Reddit actually found out, he's got pretty good evidence from pictures of Batista in tight pants.
If only those idiots would put their minds to actually solving problems.

I didn't realize that the 25th Anniversary of RAW was on a few weeks back. I haven't watched WWE in years but had I realized that I would have at least tuned in to see what's changed.

Quote from: Jigsaw on March 05, 2018, 04:23:58 AMOn the upside, I think the most recent picture I have of myself is from 2012, so luckily, whether or not I'm a troll doll is up for dispute.  [*browwink*]
Whoops. I accidentally hit delete instead of edit... was going to move my pic to Member Photos.

Guess you will have to post something new there, too. [*deal*]

Quote from: Dorkus on February 15, 2018, 09:41:41 AMMy problem is, and I know it's embarrassing. If I like a girl, I become terrified of them. I analyze everything I do and distance myself from them for fear of saying or doing the wrong thing. I think I would rather be single than go through that.
Sounds like you could use a pregame shot or two before going out to loosen you up.

It's kind of funny- I've actually (unwillingly) regressed into a bit of a hermit on my part. I relatively recently got a new house that I thought would help improve my social life but between working on improving that, and my jobs I have almost no time or willpower to go out and do anything.

I always just took it at face value and went with the alternate universe. But I can see the point of the whole Inception idea.

Quote from: Chucky on November 27, 2017, 02:39:59 PMI don't even think Wes Craven knew what it was either.  [*hehehmm*]
Then again...

I think we're all in basic agreement when it comes to this whole sexual harassment thing being a phase. But I do think that it's quickly started to turn into a modern day version of McCarthyism- point the finger and watch them crumble, whether or not the allegations have merit or even evidence. Trial and jury be damned. I actually think that can have very nasty effects for everyone down the road. I really don't think social media has helped the issue much either... but then again I don't view social media very positively to begin with.

As far as my opinion and all the drama what I would really like to see is some actual integrity ([*laugh*]) on the part of all parties involved. I have no problem with the news, or one side or the other being at least partially biased. That's human nature. But, at the very least, be up front about it. What I find completely infuriating are the people/groups that claim to be beacons of truth and morality, condemning the other side- then once their side is caught red handed they try to explain it away, if not outright ignore it. Right now it seems to be mounting much more on the Dems side than the GOP, but they're both dirty. Quite frankly I think both sides would do well to take their guiltiest and collectively throw them all under the biggest bus they can find.

As far as Moore's politics- I think he's simply an unfortunate symptom of the times. Things are much more "us vs them" now than they've possibly ever been. All thanks to the politicization of everything. Each side would rather completely ignore the other side and get their guy in, however bad they might be, because not only is the other side wrong- they're damn near evil and want to destroy your life.
