I haven't seen it, but what I've heard has been fairly positive. If my friends want to get together maybe it's something we can all go out to see.

Horror Talk / Re: Halloween (2018) Trailer

I saw the trailer a little while back- not 100% sure what I think of it.

Seems like the movie isn't sure if it wants to be an action movie, or a horror movie. It does have my interest, though. I wouldn't mind giving it a chance. And Laurie is back!

I had completely forgotten about Happy Death Day! I actually wanted to give that one a watch when it was coming out... it seemed fun.

I do remember at the time it was one of my more liked movies. Mainly because it was so out there, and could be seen from different perspectives... similar to what you were saying.

Though after Southland Tales it was kind of evident that Kelly was a bit of a one trick pony in terms of original content.

Kick Ass was definitely a fun watch, and a nice twist on all the super hero movies that have littered cinema over the past few years. And Moretz definitely stole the show. [*deal*]

That would imply the people on the street nowadays do more than just sit there with an "Anything Helps, God Bless" sign.

One of the few times where I gave a particular damn about the soundtrack. Similar to the new Blade Runner movie that "just" came out with Gosling, too.

At least the Germans did us a mercy and came up with a final solution for those tax loopholes.

Didn't you sign up for his boxing challenge a few years back?

Strike First. Strike Hard. Sweep the leg.

Truth be told I don't really know how I feel about this. I haven't watched any of the Karate Kid movies since I was small.

I've only ever seen the first couple of episodes or so. I didn't particularly care for it. I've heard that they've only gotten better after Season 1 so perhaps I need to give it another look.

Truth be told I don't even remember the last thing that I saw from WWE. Match, storyline, or otherwise.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this movie. The trailer I thought was good, which gave me hopes, but I still had second thoughts. The kids essentially stole the show for me, particularly the kid that played Eddie.

My only real "gripe" was I thought the very ending was a bit hokey for all the buildup that was given throughout the entire movie previously.

Horror Talk / Re: Cujo (1983)

I liked it better than the novel- but I also didn't much care for the novel in the first place, so I suppose that doesn't say much. One thing that I think the novel did do better at was giving more of a perspective of Cujo himself, as opposed to the movie where it was far more about the mother/son. Cujo had actual reasons for going after them in the book, in the movie he's essentially Jaws with paws.
