It could have easily been as good or better as the original since it goes further in the satire and excess, but it's not as iconic and the forced sentimentality of some scenes sit weird with me.

I know I've seen it. Can barely remember a thing about it. There's vampires, and the hero goes and get an actor who played a vampire hunter on TV to help him I think.

I really like this one. It's well directed, well acted, funny, intriguing and some parts are genuinely creepy.

Of all the horror series out there, it's kind of amazing to me that the one about a killer doll stands as one of the best. None of the entries are bad, even the last one was fun.

Such a good movie, and it's actually unsettling too!

The special effects are still wonderful. I don't know what people think of the sequel, but despite its obviously smaller budget, I really liked it.

I really can't decide between these two.

It's okay. I feel like the reputation the internet has given it as one of the most disturbing movie ever diminished my enjoyment of it.

Great premise and execution, but falls a bit flat during the last third. It seemed like they didn't know how to end it, and I'm not quite sure as to why they thought electricity would kill the thing.

Maybe the goal was to convey a child-like way of thinking, but whatever the intention was, it was a little muddled.

T2's one of the best sequels ever. It's bigger, has more stuff going on in it and offers a perfect conclusion to the series (I'm purposely keeping any of the other sequels out of my head-canon), but there's something to be said for the rawness of the original.

It's kind of the same deal as Alien and Aliens. They're pretty different movies.

On certain days I think it's even better than T2. I'll add a review later.

Oh, absolutely. I don't mind that it's a cash grab, but in the end, it's not as entertaining to me as some other entries in the franchise. Part 2, 4 and FvJ are arguably good (if intentionally cheesy and exploitive) movies. Part 6 is actually pretty great, it's a nice hommage to old monster movies and a precursor to subversive horror comedies like Scream. The other ones are all different degrees of bad and entertaining.

Some guy on Reddit actually found out, he's got pretty good evidence from pictures of Batista in tight pants.

A Ghost Story.

Great movie about life, death, mourning and the passage/perception of time.

The sad thing about Paul Verhoeven's movies is that many people seem to only see and understand them on the first level. The satire and humor goes completely over their heads, so they end up thinking they're just some dumb shlock.

There's some crowds that you will never be able to convince to sit down and watch a movie about a robot cop, or space soldiers shooting bugs.

Psycho 2, and it's actually really good.

Really good, but the annoying editing made it not very scary.
