Hey C-Dog, how do you feel about giving us some of those thread icons with ratings for movies?

Those of you who've seen this, want to put in a rating and I'll do a Movie Club style tally?

I'm thinking 7.5.  The characters and the opening drag it down too much to give it an 8 in good faith.

Spike is a pansy.

Just watched Star Trek yesterday.  Came out better than I expected, and better than the first.  Sherlock Holmes plays a good evil Neo as he fights Sylar.  8.5/10.

Oh, I just finished watching all 7 seasons of Buffy and 3 1/2 seasons of Angel.  I'll be looking to start another show on Netflix soon.

Some of the gore bits were particularly realistic, and the exact sort of stuff that's likely to get me squeamish.

So the kidnapping thing doesn't come out of nowhere in that version.  Sounds like an improvement.

Chocolate Milk has somewhat transcended being a drink for me.  When I was a camp counselor and a student with a meal plan, I would drink no less than a gallon of chocolate milk a day.

Got you.  So the gore-free version is better, you're saying?  Why's that?

Apparently I never posted here.  Anyway, this had better be awesome, considering that he gave up Godzilla to a less capable director so that he could work on this instead.

what's everyone's favorite drink? Doesn't matter if its alcoholic or not.
I've become a coffee addict in recent years.  I'm also partial to Hennessey and cranberry and Margeritas on the rocks.

I didn't even know there were two cuts of this film.  I also have no idea what to count that as in the final tally.

Updated.

Anybody else here familiar with both versions?  If so, what do you think of the introduction of an antagonist?
