Other Movies / Once Were Warriors (1994)

This hard-hitting dramatic thriller from New Zealand will surely bring out some emotions in you as I found the characters and the intense situations that unfold to become easily invested in.

Have you ever taken a look at this movie?

Horror Talk / The House Of The Devil (2009)

The House Of The Devil is a good, suspenseful movie but moves at a slow, slow pace. If you can overcome that obstacle, you're sure to enjoy this retro-themed horror flick.

Have you seen this movie? What do you think of it?

There's plenty of awesome action scenes and the movie manages to continue an intricate plot without convoluting it further. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is an incredibly tough movie to follow, but I think Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines has done that admirably.

What do you think of this third entry into the series?

Horror Talk / Almost Human (2013)
April 13, 2018, 11:38:58 PM
This is the kind of movie that would look pretty good at an independent film festival against other films of that nature. Almost Human is okay as a one-time watch but I can't ever see myself wanting to watch this movie ever again.

Have you ever seen this movie?

I've actually seen quite a lot of the movies you've been reviewing, but it's just been a little too long since I last saw them for me to give them an accurate review/rating.

From what I remember, this movie was probably a 5-6/10 for me, I only remember little bits and pieces.

Yeah, there is some incest stuff going on between the main characters. I actually got a free copy of this from Dimension Films about 10 years ago when FE had heaps of people on the forum.

I'll try to add a scene from it soon.

Horror Talk / Triloquist (2008)

It's not so much a killer doll movie as it is marketed to be. There are some giggles to be had throughout if you can appreciate its crude level of humour and some scenes that will make you just wonder, "what the fuck?" but it isn't a scary movie.

Have you seen Triloquist?

Horror Talk / American Psycho (2000)
April 11, 2018, 10:17:29 AM
This is a highly quotable movie, filled with fantastic dialogue, good acting and some suspense but the kills may or may not be too abrupt to satisfy those that were hoping for some blood-fueled mayhem.

Do you enjoy American Psycho?

I added my own review for this one also.

Everytime I watch it, I feel different about it. Last time I had a pretty fun time with it and some of the previous time I thought it was kind of meh. I guess it all depends on what mood I'm in when I watch this.

Here is her brief scene in Cult Of Chucky (after the credits).

P.S. This scene doesn't really spoil anything that happens in Cult if that's a concern.

Quote from: Shadow on April 10, 2018, 10:32:01 AMDidn't you sign up for his boxing challenge a few years back?

I tried but apparently I exceeded his size restrictions. He only wanted to beat up guys that were smaller than him.

I really should contribute more to this thread since I listen to heaps of music.

Other Movies / Kickboxer 3: The Art Of War (1992)
April 09, 2018, 08:39:25 PM
There's a few less kicks and lot more guns in comparison to the previous two movies. There's no real memorable villain to take Tong Po's place but David Sloan and Xian have a good rapport as a buddy combo and do well enough to serve those that enjoyed the previous movie.

What do you think of this third entry into the series?
