The Attic has a very obvious straight-to-video feel, and leans more on superficial jump scares than it does outright horror (there was a solid throat-slitting, at the very least). Most of the enjoyment comes from Moss's (of The West Wing fame) performance, and the story itself is somewhat interesting.
