Title: Halloween (2018)
Post by: Jigsaw on December 14, 2018, 07:54:19 AM
There's plenty of things to like about this movie, such as the strong and occasionally brutal gore, the suspense, and Jamie Lee Curtis. At the same time, while it's an above-average movie, I don't know how special it ends up being. Still, though it lacks the charm of the first few Halloween movies, it's still probably the best Halloween movie we've gotten since Halloween 4, and thus, this comes recommended.

What are your thoughts on the newest addition to this classic series?

I saw it back in October and just never got around to reviewing it, mainly because of how focused I was with the new updates. I liked it, I think an 8/10 would be my score too. It's one of the better movies in the series.

I'd still prefer the first four movies (I'm a fan of Season of the Witch and a big fan of the Return of Michael Myers), but certainly since the fifth movie (which has it's charms, at times), this is probably the best Halloween we've gotten, easily.
