The VVitch is a very interesting film that easily stands out given it's deep focus on increasing religious mania and it's very archaic language structure (the film takes place in the 1600's, and it definitely feels like it). Aside from the ending, which I'm somewhat torn on, I think the film has a some great performances, fantastic suspense, and a strong anti-religious message. Who can't get behind that?
