Random Bullshit / Re: Long time no see
April 25, 2023, 07:30:21 PM
Hey guys, Sorry to dredge up an old post but using my old laptop for the first time in a long time and when I came onlne this was the first link on my favourites. I'm gutted my old profile got deleted (my own fault due to inactivity). I see some old faces on Facebook from time to time but sure would be nice to get actively talking on here again. Most of my friends don't like horror so would be great for this place to get busy again. Seems like a lifetime ago...

Whats been happening? Chucky, any chance we can get the fights back up and running?! Sorry man, had to ask! haha

Sometimes I like a silly movie.

Ok, for the first few times, sure she'd be scared but when she starts to know it's coming no matter what she does?! I dunno. Time will tell..

I was lucky enough to catch this French Shocker at FrightFest here in Glasgow in February. What a sick puppy it is. Up there as one of the best horrors I've seen this year. Anyone watched it yet?

Glad to see the site properly back up man. I closed my website about 4 years ago but still miss it and would love to go back to it but I was never a writer  [*laugh*]

I only watched Neon Demon recently but it's been some time since I watched Only God Forgives. Maybe I should give it another go.

As much as I'd like to see a new Maniac Cop movie I'm just not sure about Refn. Don't get me wrong - 'Drive' was awesome but wasn't a bigger lover of 'Only God Forgives' or 'The Neon Demon'

Triple 9 - Took me a while to get round to watching this one but glad I did. Pretty solid Thriller
Manchester by the Sea - Was pretty decent. Solid performance by Casey Affleck
Hacksaw Ridge - Surprisingly enjoyable. I know it's based on real events but seems so far fetched...

Sorry to revive an old thread but had to comment on this. I'm terrified of clowns but can't wait for this. The mini-series scared me as a child but doesn't have the same impact now. This new one looks like it's gonna tick all the boxes. Like the idea that it'll focus on when they're kids. Just hope it does well enough to get a sequel about their adult years...
